MyTuy is back!

Last November, the domain name MyTuy.net was due for renewal, I didn't bother renewing it because I thought the project was going nowhere. I was resolved to the fact that I managed to donate PCs to almost 80% of public schools in my hometown, and did a bit of training to the kids. Though I couldn't take credit on these donations alone, my friend has been very generous to share his personal earnings as much as I did to make it happen.

Until back in June, I was at the Manila Airport on my way to Brisbane, eager to check my emails after 3 weeks of being off line. My eagerness is instantly mixed with joy as soon as I read an email from the President of Tuy Club USA asking about my experience in doing MyTuy project. She said the club is looking into doing the same project for our hometown on top of their existing activities. I couldn't be happier to share my experience and give some advise on things that could be improved. But most importantly, it lifted back my spirit in realizing my effort wasn't a waste after all. So here's to praying that their plan will go ahead smoothly.

When I initially started the project, I was hoping individual people from Tuy who has the means to help will follow through. I believe God has better plans, always.

I'm cooking other ideas in my head right now to continue the 'MyTuy' project. I have a few, but I'm still connecting the dots to get a better picture. If you have something in mind, please feel free to leave your comments. All ideas are welcome.
